The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was first performed (more or less in it’s entirety) by it’s authors in 1987 at the Paramount Ranch in Agoura, California, closely followed by it’s hugely popular run at the 1987 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was to became London’s longest running comedy (10 years at the Criterion Theatre), and one of the most popular theatrical comedies on Earth.
